Brasov? Honestly, the city is really the fanciest one I have seen on this whole trip so far. Yes, even more uptown chic than Bolzano. Romania, the next big thing?
Today's stage: Sibiu - Brasov, 182 km, the first part quite flat at the feet of the Carpathians, the second part slowly going up with a very fine climb in the end to the resort village Poiano Brasov (alt. 1200 m). Once again a ride to remember. I couldn't go down to Brasov via my planned route, because - irony - there was a car rally. It felt like the rally deprived me from a glorious entrance in Brasov - as I had to go down on a bumpy gravel road. I made it without any damage, so another victory anyway. Brasov? Honestly, the city is really the fanciest one I have seen on this whole trip so far. Yes, even more uptown chic than Bolzano. Romania, the next big thing?

Brasov....
